About this role:

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage and oversee the migration activity of our Tax and Financial Reporting team. This new role will support the head of the team in managing the day-to-day operations, including business as usual tasks, and will be responsible for liaising with clients and their service providers.

The successful candidate will have strong accounting and tax knowledge, including the ability to respond to client queries. They will also have a detailed knowledge of the Financial Services Industry, specifically in administering managed investment funds.

This is a key leadership role that requires strong decision-making skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop strong relationships within the company and with third parties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the completion and delivery of all tax and other regulatory reporting, including business activity statements, distribution calculations, and tax returns.
  • Ensure tax and other regulatory reporting adheres to company policies and procedures, regulatory, and legislative requirements.
  • Analyse and consider impacts of key tax reforms.
  • Represent the Tax and Financial Reporting team in internal and client meetings.
  • Ensure the successful implementation of the new business pipeline, leveraging off the wider team.
Requirements
  • Strong accounting and tax knowledge, including the ability to respond to client queries.
  • Detailed knowledge of the Financial Services Industry, specifically in administering managed investment funds.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills.
  • Ability to produce and present reports.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with staff and third parties.
