Mid Level Interior Designer Role

This role involves collaborating with clients, architects, and fellow designers to conceptualise and execute designs that elevate the guest experience. From luxurious boutique hotels to bustling restaurants, you will have the opportunity to shape spaces that leave a lasting impression.

  • Work collaboratively with the design team to develop creative concepts and schematic designs for hotel and hospitality projects.
  • Translate client needs and project requirements into innovative design solutions that enhance functionality and aesthetics.
  • Produce detailed drawings, renderings, and presentations to communicate design intent effectively.
  • Research and specify materials, finishes, furnishings, and fixtures that align with project budgets and design vision.
  • Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Participate in site visits and meetings to oversee the implementation of design concepts and address any on-site challenges.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in hospitality design.
Requirements:

A bachelor's or master's degree in interior design or a related field is required, along with 5+ years of professional experience in interior design, with a focus on hotel and hospitality projects.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software is essential. A strong understanding of space planning, FF&E selection, and construction documentation is also necessary.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, are crucial. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budget constraints is also vital.

A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences through thoughtful design are key qualities required for this role.
