Forklift Operator Job Description

At our warehouse, we are seeking experienced forklift operators to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating counterbalance and high-reach forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating heavy machinery, including forklifts, in accordance with safety protocols
  • Mixing chemicals together and loading/unloading trucks with products
  • Ensuring plant and equipment run properly when required
  • Performing manual handling tasks as required
Requirements:
  • Licence to operate a forklift (LF licence)
  • Minimum 12 months experience operating a high-reach or counterbalance forklift
  • Physically fit and able to lift 20-25kg
  • Experience in production is desirable but not essential
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
