We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to join our team at Keysborough Secondary College. The successful candidate will play a vital role in promoting the health and wellbeing of students across our campuses.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage the health centres of the College, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for students.
- Provide clinical nursing leadership to registered and enrolled nurses and/or other staff within the health centres of the College.
- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the health centres of the College, including quality improvement activities.
- Lead and manage the implementation of whole-school improvement strategies related to health and wellbeing.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of professional development activities within the school community.
- A current qualification in nursing and Level 2 first aid, as well as a comprehensive knowledge of Anaphylaxis, Allergies, Asthma and Diabetes.
- Exceptional organisational skills, including the ability to manage work priorities, meet deadlines and develop procedures and guidelines in a first aid setting.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a professional and collaborative manner.
- High level communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with students, staff and other members of the school community.
