Trainer and Assessor

Delivering high-quality training programs is a key aspect of this role. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and deliver engaging training sessions and workshops, covering carpentry techniques and principles.

Assessing student performance through practical demonstrations, written assessments, and observations is another critical responsibility of this position. Providing constructive feedback and support to students to help them achieve their learning objectives is also essential.

Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Carpentry or higher qualification in a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of practical experience working as a carpenter.
  • Previous experience in vocational education and training (VET) sector preferred.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or willingness to obtain.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
