Job Summary

We are seeking a professional with excellent customer-facing skills to fill the role of Rural Manager.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Victorian rural market and the ability to build meaningful relationships with customers and industry partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build customer value by growing collaborative partnerships and understanding their needs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and industry partners
  • Enable growth opportunities by identifying sales, service, customer, and market trends
  • Stay up-to-date with industry and market changes to respond to or support customers and industry
  • Facilitate future-focused innovation and change by collaborating with others

Requirements
  • Proven ability to build meaningful customer value and solutions with measurable outcomes
  • Knowledge of the Victorian rural market and products used for sheep, cattle, and related livestock
  • Excellent knowledge of sales operations and CRM packages
  • Ability to build constructive partnerships with others to achieve business outcomes
  • Commercial acumen, including pricing and margin, and its impact on profitability
  • Ability to coordinate and participate in field days across rural Victoria
