HammondCare is currently looking for a highly skilled and compassionate care professional to join our team as a Dementia Care Specialist. We are committed to creating a home away from home for our residents, and we need someone who can provide tailored care and support.
Job Description:We are seeking a qualified and experienced care professional to provide personal care, life engagement, and support to residents with dementia. This role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Availability to work every second weekend and afternoon/evening shifts
- Knowledge and experience of people living with dementia and their needs
- Genuine passion for serving elderly people and making a difference in their lives
- Ability to work independently and show initiative
- Flexible roster patterns available
- Support to complete a Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing) while working
- Access to nationwide health and fitness facilities
