Radiologist VMO Position

Austin Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Radiologist to join our team. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for providing expert specialist consultation to referring medical practitioners and patients, as well as participating in multidisciplinary team meetings.
Key Responsibilities- Acting as an expert specialist consultant to the referring medical practitioner and patient
- Diagnostic activities, including screening and radiation protection
- Participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to maintain current knowledge and upskill as required
- Supervising and training Interventional Radiology Fellows and other junior medical staff
- Participating in the Health Service, Department of Radiology and Department of Surgery audit and governance processes
- Registered Medical Practitioner in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), with currency of practice
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiology (RANZCR) or its equivalent
- Appropriate training and experience applicable to the field of Radiology and Interventional Radiology (EBIR preferred)
- Demonstrated commitment to high quality patient care, teaching, and research
- Ability to communicate at all levels and demonstrate teamwork and collaboration
