We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Manager to lead our Pathology Collection services in a specific geographical area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and managing a team of Collection Leads to ensure the smooth, efficient, and effective operations of our collection sites.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and mentor the Collections Support Services Team to achieve business objectives and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and report on monthly financial results, ensuring alignment with company targets.
- Communicate and drive national collection standards across the collections structure, ensuring compliance with accreditation requirements and standards.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality and consistent collection services across the region's collection centre network, meeting all accreditation requirements and standards.
- Elevate customer satisfaction and improve patient and provider experiences in ACCs and hospitals.
- Ensure effective and efficient collections processes and resource allocation for optimal network utilisation and service excellence.
- Attract, engage, and retain existing Pathology Collections staff, providing leadership, guidance, motivation, and performance management to Collection Leads.
To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
- Leadership and management experience, with a proven track record of driving business growth and improving customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Experience in managing and supervising a team in a dispersed region, with a focus on customer service and quality delivery.
- Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Pathology Collection, Certificate IV in Pathology, or a Bachelor of Business Management.
