Key Customer Service Role

We are seeking a skilled Sales and Warehouse Operator to join our team. As a key member of the Gyprock Trade Centre, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and attaining operational excellence within the warehouse.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service for all customers in store and in the warehouse.
  • Manage stock movements and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Serve customers in the warehouse part of the store, including loading vehicles with a forklift or manually as required.
  • Ensure documentation, labelling and presentation of product meets quality standards.
  • Contribute to warehouse operations, including picking orders, inventory counts and general housekeeping.
Requirements
  • Hold a valid forklift licence.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be able to approach, connect and confidently interact with customers.
  • Have an eagerness to learn about products and services.
  • Possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Be confident and well-presented when dealing with customers.
  • Experience working in a busy and dynamic retail environment is highly desirable.
