Electrical Services Role Overview

We seek an Electrical Services Officer to provide electrical support for the installation, maintenance, and repair of airfield lighting, electrical supply infrastructure, power generation, terminal facilities, and other critical airport technical assets.

The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical skills, with a focus on safety and quality delivery.

Core Responsibilities
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the airport precinct through planned and unplanned inspections.
  • Maintain industrial and commercial control systems, including BMS, PLC, and SCADA-based systems.
  • Service and maintain HVAC systems, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide electrical expertise in the repair and maintenance of various technical assets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Tasmanian A-Grade Electrical Licence (or equivalent inter-state licence recognised through the National Mutual Recognition Database).
  • Open Cabling Licence.
  • High Risk Work Licence with WP endorsement – desirable.
  • Working at Heights training – desirable.
  • Industrial White Card – desirable.
