Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Strategic Finance Professional to join our team in Sydney. This individual will play a critical role in driving business growth and improving financial performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. They will also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker who can help drive business success through sound financial planning and decision-making.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree - Accounting, Business, Economics, or Math major required.
  • CA/CPA certification or equivalent.
  • Approximately 4+ years' experience as a management accountant including profit and loss analysis and KPI analysis.
  • Previous financial analysis experience within manufacturing, supply chain management, airline and/or airline catering industries would be highly desirable.
  • Experience with SAP preferred. Power BI would be beneficial.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Business partnering with key stakeholders within the Oceania team.
  • Working closely with site Operations teams to identify and analyse areas of improvement.
  • Performing modelling, analysis, and projects as required.
  • Preparing budget and forecasts models/templates and projections.
  • Reconciling and analysing large volumes of transactional data.
  • SUPPORTING THE COMMERCIAL AND PROJECTS BUSINESS PARTNER WITH REVENUE, LABOUR, AND MATERIALS ANALYSIS IN SUPPORT OF CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS.
