Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Program Controls Director to lead program controls on large and highly complex infrastructure projects in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate program controls for major infrastructure programs with high strategic value and execution complexity.
  • Provide senior-level oversight for program controls activities, including coordination efforts across multiple projects within the program.
  • Spearhead innovative strategies to streamline processes, enhance collaboration, and optimize efficiency and productivity across the program.
  • Set the strategic direction for program controls, ensuring alignment with AECOM's broader business objectives.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in leading program controls on major infrastructure projects with 15+ years of experience in a Program Controls Leadership role.
  • Demonstrated track record of deploying and managing program controls processes, tools, methodologies, and decisions on major projects.
  • Extensive understanding of program controls concepts and principles, paired with experience providing insights, thought leadership, and evolution of the discipline.
  • High level of technical expertise in establishing, managing, and maintaining a robust and realistic baseline, assessing performance, and providing meaningful analysis to support proactive program management.
  • Experience in leading program controls for major client projects in infrastructure sectors such as Energy, Water, Aviation, Transport, or Urban Development.
  • Bachelor's degree (or Master's degree) in a relevant field such as Project Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
