About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accelerated Computing Specialist to drive large-scale migration and modernization of technology infrastructure and applications to AWS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply advanced technical expertise and experience in Accelerated Computing to unblock customers' largest and most critical business challenges.
  • Represent the voice of the customer, bringing customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
  • Act as a thought leader, sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public-speaking events.
  • Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.
  • Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, helping them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
  • 10+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
  • 3+ years of technology/software sales experience
  • Experience with designing, building, and operating platforms and workloads based on Accelerated Computing (HPC, Quantum, GPU, FPGA)
  • History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers
  • Cloud expertise as demonstrated by one or more cloud certifications
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
  • Proficiency with design, deployment, and evaluation of LLM-powered agents and tools and orchestration approaches
  • Advanced degree highly preferred (e.g., engineering, computer science, or mathematics)
