Public Sector People is a leading partner in connecting talent with meaningful opportunities. We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team.

Job Overview

This role will involve overseeing the delivery of council's civil infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage, footpaths, shared paths, carparks, road safety, and streetscapes. The successful candidate will have experience in project and/or construction management and a strong understanding of Local Government procedures, principles, and legislation.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who can supervise the delivery of civil infrastructure projects, tenders, contract management, site supervision, budgeting, financial management, stakeholder management, and ensure adherence to OH&S policies. As the ideal candidate, you will have a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering and Project Management, experience in delivering Capital Works Projects to time, quality, and budget constraints, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the delivery of civil infrastructure projects
  • Tender for and manage contracts
  • Ensure sites are supervised and works are executed safely and within budget
  • Manage budgets and finances effectively
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure their needs are met
  • Adhere to OH&S policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering and Project Management
  • Experience in project and/or construction management
  • Previous experience successfully delivering Capital Works Projects to time, quality, and budget constraints
  • Strong understanding of Local Government procedures, principles, and legislation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
