Job Title: Water Treatment Operator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water Treatment Operator to join our team in a remote location. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring wastewater treatment systems to ensure they meet environmental and safety standards.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor wastewater treatment systems to meet environmental and safety standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of plant equipment and systems.
  • Work closely with village maintenance and site teams to ensure smooth facility operations.
  • Support environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives across the site.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Water Industry Operations (or equivalent) – essential.
  • Previous experience operating wastewater treatment plants, ideally in remote or industrial settings.
  • Sound understanding of Australian environmental and safety regulations relating to wastewater.
  • Current driver's licence (HR desirable) and ability to pass site medicals and police checks.
