Flight Attendant Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled Flight Attendant to join our team and provide exceptional customer service on our Dash-8 turbo prop aircraft.

This full-time, permanent role is based in Melbourne and offers a range of benefits including heavily discounted air travel and 6 weeks annual leave.

About the Role

As a Flight Attendant, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our customers while providing a high level of customer service. You'll work closely with your colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive team environment.

  • You will understand our customers' needs and demonstrate a clear passion for customer service and following procedures and policies.
  • You will build rapport and trust in a team and positively contribute to the team's performance.
  • You will be adaptable to any situation that may present itself in a sensible, warm, and safe way.
  • You will appreciate cultural diversity and sensitivity towards customers who may need extra help.
  • You will understand the importance of hygiene standards in-flight.
  • You will be trained and confident in aircraft safety procedures and first aid when needed.
Requirements
  • You must be between 158 - 183 cm tall.
  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must have Australian or New Zealand permanent residency with unlimited working rights.
  • You must have a valid passport with unrestricted access to all Qantas destinations with at least 12 months validity.
  • You must have a current Senior First Aid Certificate completed within the last 12 months.
  • You must have current CPR accreditation.
  • You must have a Responsible Service of Alcohol 'Statement of Attainment'.
  • You must have an excellent level of health and fitness.
  • You must have a strong commitment to customer service and recent experience in a face-to-face role.
