Electrical Drafter Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Drafter to join our team. As an Electrical Drafter, you will be responsible for creating detailed electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and panel layouts.

You will work closely with engineers to translate concepts into accurate CAD models, ensuring designs meet industry standards, regulatory codes, and client requirements. Additionally, you will perform revisions, markups, and quality checks on existing drawings, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3+ years of electrical drafting experience in Secondary Systems, HV, LV, Control Systems, SCADA or Water projects
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microstation
  • Experience with design automation tools beneficial, or an interest in learning
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Track record of delivering accurate, on-time drawings under tight deadlines
