Electrical Drafter

Leading player in electricity supply seeking an Electrical Design Drafter with protection/control systems exp.

**Your new company**
Our client is a major supplier of electricity across eastern NSW and they are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Drafter to join their team.

**Your new role**
In this position you will need to use your advanced skills Microstation and your knowledge of HV Substations to produce schematic drawings, panel wiring drawings, produce panel arrangements and cutout drawings as well as the delivery of cabling schedules. You will be able to work unsupervised and have a thorough knowledge of protection and control systems associated with high voltage substations.

**What you'll need to succeed**
You will need a basic understanding of HV substations and their components and how they interact with each other - protection relays, control relays, SCADA, transformer and circuit breakers and demonstrated skills and experience with Microstation, Ideally, you will be able to interpret technical briefs, engineering sketches and regulations to turn a concept into a working design package.
