Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our technical workforce with a hands-on approach. As the ideal candidate, you will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality maintenance services in a dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the organisation's technical workforce, allocating resources to provide high-quality maintenance and modification services to customers. They will also be responsible for ensuring aircraft are maintained in accordance with relevant and current Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, and tasks and duties are accomplished in accordance with Policies and Procedures.

The Maintenance Manager will play a key role in assisting in the development and implementation of repair and maintenance procedures, monitoring the cost and effectiveness of activities to optimise resources, prioritise spending, and achieve timeliness, reliability, and safety standards.

In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership for and knowledge of the full scope of activities carried out by the maintenance organisation, including management of the technical workforce. They will also be responsible for meeting the requirements of and holding the post of Responsible Manager as described in the CASA Regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring the highest possible standard of aircraft maintenance.
  • Ensuring aircraft are maintained in accordance with the relevant and current Instructions for Continued Airworthiness.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of repair and maintenance procedures.
  • Monitoring the cost and effectiveness of activities to optimise resources.
  • Providing leadership for and knowledge of the full scope of activities carried out by the maintenance organisation.
  • Meeting the requirements of and holding the post of Responsible Manager.
RequirementsSkills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years aircraft maintenance experience, with experience in heavy maintenance and modifications.
  • Experience and qualifications on light and medium Bell, Airbus and Leonardo models.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CASA Part 145 and CAR30 regulations.
  • Strong work ethic and a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a goal orientated approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior time management and organisation skills.
