Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team in the Perioperative Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services.

About the Role
  • Deliver evidence-based nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Ensure patient and staff safety through effective risk management and compliance with National standards
  • Supervise, direct, and guide nursing team members to deliver patient care
  • Provide education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs

Requirements

  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Experience in Orthopaedics (preferred)
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards)
  • NT Working with Children check
  • Commitment to Quality Patient Care
  • Compliance with National standards
  • Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team
