Job Summary
This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment, providing expert clinical care and support to clients with complex needs. As a Nurse Clinical Specialist Sexual Health, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, while promoting health education and awareness within the community.
The successful candidate will possess strong clinical knowledge and skills, with experience in sexual health and public health nursing. They will be able to work effectively with individuals, families, and communities, demonstrating empathy and understanding of diverse social and cultural issues.
We are seeking an individual who is passionate about improving health outcomes, committed to ongoing learning and professional development, and able to contribute to the growth and success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist clinical care and support to clients with complex needs
- Develop and implement effective health education programs and strategies

Selection Criteria
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia or eligibility for same
- Demonstrated highly-developed clinical knowledge and skills in sexual health and public health nursing
- Experience contributing to the development and implementation of local and regional policies
- Ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and communities
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
Further Information
Ongoing appointment is subject to attainment of a Graduate Certificate beyond entry-to-practice relevant to specialty area. The preferred applicant will be required to hold a current working with children clearance notice and undergo a criminal history check.
This role carries specific immunisation requirements. To be eligible for appointment, you will be required to meet the immunisation requirements associated with Category A healthcare worker (direct contact with blood or body substances).
