About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our leadership team at Sharp And Carter. As a key member of our executive team, you will play a critical role in driving our business forward and ensuring our financial performance is aligned with our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead our finance function, providing strategic guidance and direction to ensure timely delivery of accurate and insightful financial information to support commercial decision making.
  • Drive performance through the provision of commercial insights, establishing key initiatives and ensuring strategic outcomes are adhered to.
  • Partner with our CEO and other leaders across the business to lead a high-performing team who will question and challenge their business partners to drive operational and financial performance.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies that support our business growth and expansion plans.
  • Provide expert financial guidance and advice to our leadership team, ensuring we make informed decisions that drive business success.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success as a Chief Financial Officer or in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong technical accounting understanding, coupled with proven strategic and commercial acumen.
  • Experience within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or retail (B2B) environment, with a strong understanding of e-commerce.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present critical information to senior executives and the board.
  • Strong influencer, negotiator and problem solver with demonstrated success driving strategic outcomes.
