Mobile Maintenance Fitter Job

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Maintenance Fitter to join our team at Daunia mine. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of mobile mining equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.

This role involves working in a dynamic team environment, collaborating with site personnel to achieve safety and performance targets. You will work closely with our experienced maintenance supervisors and other team members to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively.

About The Role
  • You will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across our fleet of autonomous haul trucks and ancillary equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
  • Collaborate with maintenance supervisors and other team members to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively.
What You'll Bring
  • Trade qualification in mechanical fitting or heavy diesel fitting.
  • Minimum 2 years post trade experience in a similar role.
  • Strong mechanical expertise, fault finding and diagnostic skills on a wide variety of mobile mining equipment.
  • Experience working with 793F & 797F Haul Trucks, 994H Loaders, M Series Graders and D Series Water Carts.
