About the Role
The Tower Inspector is a critical position at BAI Australia, responsible for ensuring the integrity and safety of our broadcast infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for climbing inspections, asset condition audits, and minor maintenance on our towers, monopoles, and rooftop structures across Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspecting broadcast and telecommunications antennas and structures, including towers, monopoles, guyed masts, and rooftop structures.
- Completing inspection templates to document issues found on structure members, platforms, access ladders, fall arrest systems, foundations, guys, antennas, feeders, and aircraft warning light systems.
- Auditing antennas against provided equipment lists and carrying out minor maintenance and repairs as required.
- Other rigging and general work as required by the company.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in communications and broadcast rigging, with experience working at heights up to 200m. You will also need to have a working knowledge of rigging, working at heights, and tower rescue, as well as RadHaz/EME awareness and experience with EWPs and cranes.
