Tower Inspector

The Tower Inspector is a critical position at BAI Australia, responsible for ensuring the integrity and reliability of our broadcast and telecommunications infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for climbing inspections, asset condition audits, and minor maintenance on our antenna support structures and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect broadcast and telecommunications antennas and structures, including towers, monopoles, guyed masts, and rooftop structures throughout Australia.
- Complete inspection templates to document issues found on structure members, platforms, access ladders, fall arrest systems, foundations, guys, antennas, feeders, feeder ladders, and Aircraft Warning Light systems.
- Inspect structure and RF earthing, measure verticality of structures, and undertake guy tensions.
- Audit antennas on the structure against provided equipment lists.
- Perform minor maintenance and repairs on the structure and antenna systems as required.
- Other rigging and general work as required by the company from time to time.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who is comfortable working at heights up to 200m. You will have a strong background in communications/broadcast rigging, working knowledge of rigging, working at heights, and tower rescue. You will also have experience with EWPs and cranes, as well as a competent understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
We prefer candidates with an EWP ticket and a Construction industry White Card. Australian Citizenship is essential to obtain and maintain a baseline security clearance as a condition of employment.
