Recreational Attendant Position

A leisure-focused Recreational Attendant position is available at various aquatic facilities. This role involves promoting a fun and healthy lifestyle for our community.

About the Role

We are seeking team members with excellent customer service skills and commitment to providing a safe environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for covering various roles including lifeguarding, teaching swimming, aquatics instruction, fitness instruction, and junior recreational duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lifeguard: Hold a Current RLSSA Pool Lifeguard Award or ability to complete Pool Lifeguard Licensing requirements within 21 days of commencing duties.
  • Teaching Swimming: Hold a Current AUSTSWIM, Royal Life Saving Society Australia or Swimming Australia Certificate — Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety (or equivalent).
  • Aquatics Instructor: Hold Australian Swimming Coaches and Teachers Association accreditation bronze, silver, gold or platinum.
  • Fitness Instructor / Gym Attendant: Hold a Certificate III in Fitness (Gym Instructor) and previous experience / training in Group Fitness instruction.
  • Junior Recreational Attendant: Possess excellent customer service and written communication skills.

  • A current NSW Working with Children Check.
