About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team.

  • Provide assistance to individuals with disabilities to enable them to live independently in their own homes.
  • Transport participants as required using your own vehicle.
  • Support participants to build capacity and participate in meaningful activities such as recreation, socializing, and culture.
  • Assist with domestic tasks and mealtime management.
  • Maintain thorough records of participant progress and goals.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, be reliable and trustworthy, and have a genuine commitment to upholding the rights of people with disabilities.

About the Position:

  • Full training will be provided for the right candidates.
  • The successful applicant will be responsible for attending to varying levels of personal care.
  • Additional responsibilities may include mental health support, behavior management, and maintaining person-centered care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing transport services using your own vehicle.
  • Supporting participants to maintain independence in daily living activities.
  • Maintaining thorough records of participant progress and goals.
  • Upholding confidentiality and respecting personal boundaries.

Requirements:

  • NDIS Worker Check.
  • Police Check.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Australian Driver's License.
  • Your own vehicle.
  • Current First Aid Certificate/CPR.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate: $31.00 - $39.00 per hour.
  • Possible opportunity for on-call shifts.

Work Details:

  • Expected hours: 4 - 8 hours per week.
