About the Role

  • Provide top-notch care and attention to a pack of energetic dogs, ensuring their happiness and safety throughout the day.
  • Develop your ability to observe and understand dog behavior, using this knowledge to prevent potential issues from arising.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on their dogs and addressing any concerns they may have.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for the dogs by assisting with general daycare duties.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to create a supportive and dynamic work environment.

Requirements

  • Experience working with dogs: Although prior experience is preferred, we provide comprehensive training to ensure you're equipped to succeed.
  • Quick learner: Ability to rapidly pick up new skills and adapt to the needs of the dogs and the daycare environment.
  • Observant & proactive: Notice subtle changes in dog behavior or the environment and intervene when necessary to prevent any issues.
  • Calm and controlled nature: Must have a relaxed, patient, and controlled demeanor, especially when managing a group of dogs.
  • Effective communication skills: Ability to communicate professionally and kindly with both the team and clients.
  • Tech-free environment: Ability to manage the day without relying on technology, staying focused on the dogs and their needs.
  • Customer service skills: Provide exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with clients and offering peace of mind.
  • Natural ability to connect with dogs: A strong desire to help them feel comfortable and safe.
  • Ability to receive feedback and use it to improve skills: Ensuring the highest standard of care for the dogs.
  • Quick learner and open to growth: Willingness to take on new challenges and expand your role within the team.
