Key Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned leader to head our Less than Container Load (LCL) business in the Area. This key position requires strong strategic thinking, operational expertise, and excellent stakeholder management skills.

About the Position

The LCL Area Head is responsible for driving growth and profitability in the Area through effective execution of global strategies and initiatives. This role involves developing and implementing plans that align with corporate goals, managing carrier relations, and optimizing pricing activities.

The successful candidate will be a collaborative team player who can build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders. They will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement area-level strategies to drive LCL growth and profitability.

  • Own the execution of global initiatives within the Area, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on market trends and customer needs.
  • Analyze data and metrics to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain open and transparent communication channels with stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, and senior management.

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a logistics or supply chain environment.
  • Strong knowledge of LCL operations, carrier management, and pricing strategies.
