We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Unit Manager to join our team in a key leadership role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of practices, processes, and services within the Rehabilitation Ward. They will work closely with nursing staff to achieve excellence in care delivery, ensuring that best practice and legislative requirements are met.

  • This includes reporting to the Assistant Director of Clinical Services and collaborating with nursing staff to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have:

  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • A minimum of five years' post-graduate nursing experience.
  • Experience or exposure to managing clinical staff recruitment, rostering, and performance management.
  • Previous experience as a senior nurse or manager is highly regarded.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to delegate effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
