Job Title: Registered Nurse

The role of a Registered Nurse in Oncology Home Services involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing chemotherapy and other infusions at home.

This encompasses assessing patients' needs, documenting their assessment findings, and coordinating with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure seamless care delivery.

To be successful, applicants should possess a minimum of three years post-graduate experience in acute nursing, recent experience in the administration of chemotherapies, and current IV cannulation certification and CVAD expertise.

  • Interview and examine patients, documenting assessment findings.
  • Identify actual and potential problems through discussion with patients, family, and relevant others.
  • Assess and document anticipated needs of patients.
  • Make relevant referrals as necessary.
  • Document planned nursing care and ensure care plan remains current.
