MacKillop Family Services is a leading provider of residential care services for young people with high and complex needs. Our Out of Home Care (OOHC) programs offer a range of support options, including residential care, home-based care, lead tenant and case management.

The Residential Care Worker plays a vital role in the day-to-day operation of our units, responding to the emotional and functional needs of the young people in our care. This includes developing their personal skills, managing administrative requirements and household duties.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity based in Bendigo, within our Out of Home Care program. The position reports to the Residential House Supervisor.

Key Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or similar tertiary qualifications.
  • A genuine interest in supporting young people and promoting their wellbeing.
  • Demonstrate empathy and understanding towards young people in our care.
  • Ability to regulate emotions and maintain consistent boundaries.

We offer a competitive salary package of $65,000 per annum, plus generous benefits, including Salary Packaging, Ongoing Career Development and Employee Assistance Program.
