Job Responsibilities:
  1. Sort, wash, dry, fold, iron, and package linens and garments to meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  2. Inspect items for stains or damages and apply pre-treatment methods when necessary.
  3. Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to guidelines and protocols.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized laundry area to ensure efficient workflow.
Requirements:
  1. Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with residents, families, and colleagues.
  2. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating empathy and patience.
  3. Exceptional time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently.
  4. Current influenza vaccination and National Police Check (mandatory).
  5. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel setting, is advantageous.
  6. Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods, with attention to detail to maintain quality standards.
  7. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of laundry chemicals is essential.
