Double Reed Instrumental Music Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Double Reed instrumental music teacher to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching individual students, group tuition and small ensemble direction.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to instruct and demonstrate on all double reed instruments at various levels from beginner to advanced and be well-versed in a range of music styles.

The role includes:

  • Delivering instruction to groups of students and individual students.
  • Contributing to the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Music curriculum area.
  • Undertaking other related duties as determined by the School Principal.

The school has a thriving program of ensembles and performances. Attendance at concerts and rehearsals outside school is expected.

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to inspire confidence in your students.
