Project Support Officer Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Support Officer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of ICT projects.

  • **Job Responsibilities**: The Project Support Officer will be responsible for monitoring and tracking project progress, issues and risks, and escalating concerns to the Project Manager.
  • The officer will prepare and maintain project documentation, including plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers and status reports.
  • They will coordinate meetings, workshops and other events, and prepare minutes, agendas and action items.
  • Additionally, the officer will provide administrative support, such as travel arrangements, ordering supplies and maintaining records.
  • They will perform quality assurance activities, including testing and reviewing project deliverables.
  • Communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders will also be a key aspect of this role.
  • The officer will participate in process improvements and contribute to the development of the department's ICT strategy.
  • Finally, they will research and analyse ICT trends and provide input to the Project Manager and team.
