Clinical Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Midwife Specialist to join our maternity services team. As a key leadership role, this position requires demonstrated clinical expertise and leadership qualities.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced midwife to take on a leadership position within our service. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and providing guidance and support to colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To utilise their full scope of qualifications in midwifery settings, including prescribing and ordering diagnostics as required.
  • To achieve advanced scope with appropriate remuneration by meeting the necessary criteria and requirements.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and skills relevant to the SRN role, including strategic planning, decision-making, and problem-solving.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment, providing support and guidance to colleagues as needed.
Working Conditions:
  • Variable shift work, including night duty and weekends, may be required.
  • Occasional on-call duties may also be part of the role.
