Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Trove Data Support Specialist.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our national digital collaborative services, ensuring seamless integration and data management practices across the cultural heritage and research sectors.

This includes leading a team to coordinate large-scale data aggregation, oversee data movement and transformation between Trove modules, and drive continual improvement for all service users through high-level requirements, business analysis, user acceptance testing, and change management activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate large-scale data aggregation from Trove Collaborative Services members for use in end-user discovery and research, collection analysis, and resource sharing.
  • Oversee data movement and transformation between Trove modules to meet changing user and partner needs.
  • Drive continual improvement for all service users through the creation of high-level requirements, business analysis, user acceptance testing, and coordinating change management activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in systems managing descriptive metadata in galleries, libraries, archives, museums, or research institutions.
  • High-level leadership capability for leading and managing a team to deliver organisational outcomes, project, and program activities.
  • Expertise in data management practices, particularly in the cultural heritage and research sectors.
  • Ability to develop, manage, and maintain external and internal stakeholder relationships.
