Senior Industrial Coatings Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Coatings Specialist for work in remote environments, supporting shutdowns and ongoing maintenance across various projects.
About the Role:
This position involves surface preparation and application of coatings using conventional and airless spray equipment. The successful candidate will perform abrasive blasting and industrial painting in accordance with project specifications and safety requirements.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare surfaces for coating applications using appropriate methods and techniques.
- Apply coatings to designated areas using conventional and airless spray equipment.
- Conduct inspections to ensure surface profiles and coating thicknesses meet required standards.
- Carry out work in confined spaces and at heights as required.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe worksite, adhering to all Work Health and Safety policies.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an Industrial Coatings Specialist.
- Proficient in conventional and airless spray techniques.
- Working at Heights certification - Essential.
- White Card - Essential.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test.
