About the Role

This role involves assisting in the planning, implementation and assessment of departmental systems to meet cybersecurity requirements.

Responsibilities include aligning security expectations with industry best practices, supporting Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) preparation activities, managing and implementing IT security strategies and managing cyber risk to support secure departmental systems and services.

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Security Analyst with demonstrable experience in security monitoring, access control, application patching and hardening.

The role also requires contributing to the planned migration of services to the cloud, providing cybersecurity advice to stakeholders, conducting security and quality assurance reviews and completing technical reviews and endorsements of technical solution designs.
