About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Care Home Manager to join our team at Nellsar Care Homes. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and service are delivered to our residents.

Main Objectives:

  • To provide exceptional care and support to our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • To lead and manage a team of care staff, providing guidance and coaching to ensure excellent care delivery.
  • To maintain a safe and welcoming environment for our residents, their families, and our staff.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents.
  • To ensure that high standards of care are maintained, including medication management and risk assessments.
  • To lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring that our care home meets the highest standards.
  • To maintain effective communication with residents, families, and external agencies, ensuring that their needs are met and their voices are heard.

Requirements:

  • Level 5 in management or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to manage, coach, and develop staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A thorough knowledge and understanding of dementia care.
  • Ability to foster and develop communication with external agencies.
  • Proven professional development and a commitment to ongoing learning.
