At Extend, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate OSHC Service Assistant to join our team at Brisbane Boys College in Toowong. As an integral part of our Outside School Hours Care service, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children during school holidays.

The Role
  • Deliver daily quality activities that are safe, fun, stimulating, and carry educational value for children aged 5-12 years.
  • Supervise and support children during holiday care sessions, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Prepare and serve healthy food options, promoting good eating habits and nutrition.
  • Create an inclusive and happy environment that fosters meaningful relationships between colleagues, children, families, school leaders, and the broader community.
About You
  • Engaging and warm personality with a strong focus on child safety and appreciation for mandatory reporting.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and school staff.
  • Hold a Certificate III or higher in Children's Services, Early Childhood, School Aged care (or studying towards) or equivalent.
  • Available to work Monday to Friday, with flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
