Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Swimming Instructor to join our team at the City of Launceston. As a Swimming Instructor, you will be responsible for providing swimming lessons to groups, schools, and individuals as part of our Leisure and Aquatic Learn to Swim program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality swimming lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.
  • Plan, organize, and facilitate water safety and swimming lessons in a safe and professional manner.
  • Accurately record student progress and maintain documentation.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
Requirements
  • Swim Teacher qualification.
  • HLTAID009 Perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Practical experience teaching swimming and water safety.
  • Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration.
