**Job Description**
The Epworth Payroll Department is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to work on a full-time basis. You will report into the Payroll Team Leader and Payroll Manager and work in a team with 8 other payroll employees, all responsible for a portion of the end-to-end payroll process. This position is responsible for the checking of timesheet data within our rostering system (Time Target) including the running of several fortnightly reports, as well as the reconciliation/verifying of payroll results and data. The role will involve responding to general payroll queries from employees via our online email ticketing service. Some ad-hoc reporting is required and shared amongst the team members.
**Key Responsibilities**

**Requirements**
* Several years experience in a standalone payroll role, with full function knowledge and preferably within the Health Industry
* Experience using the Chris21 Payroll System
* Experience using a time and attendance system such as Time Target
* Excellent knowledge of payroll activities including calculating leave entitlements, superannuation, taxation, and salary packaging
* High attention to detail with accurate data entry skills when dealing with high volumes of timesheet data entry
* Extensive clerical experience in a service-oriented environment
* Great customer service skills
