Property Consultant

This is a senior advisory role that involves managing and advising on property-related matters, ensuring compliance and contributing to the successful delivery of projects.

About the Role:
  • Assist with property matters associated with project programs for government and non-government clients across various sectors.
  • Provide research, advice, and support on property matters including compulsory land acquisition, land tenure issues, and property transactions such as negotiated acquisitions, leases, licenses, permits, and easements.
  • Engage with authorities and other entities as required in collaboration with project teams on land access, acquisition, and other property matters.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain accurate records and information management requirements.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, communities, internal and external stakeholders, authorities, or other consultants, service providers, and government landowners.
  3. Demonstrate sound knowledge of planning and environmental approval legislation and processes in the context of major projects.
Requirements:
  • Experience in delivering property projects preferably in linear infrastructure projects or management of large-scale, diverse property portfolios.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in compulsory land acquisition and negotiated property acquisition and transactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with clients, communities, internal and external stakeholders, authorities, or other consultants, service providers, and government landowners.
  • Ability to build and manage relationships within internal and external stakeholders.
