EPMO Specialist

At Flexhive, we are seeking an experienced EPMO Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and mentoring business leaders, project managers, and external partners to ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives.

The EPMO Specialist will drive improved project outcomes by consistently evaluating project performance, identifying and guiding improvement opportunities, and ensuring alignment with established frameworks. The role will also ensure that projects are resourced to maximize success and impact on organizational objectives.

• Provide core project leadership, management, and development and delivery services for a portfolio or program of projects.
• Manage the development of scopes, goals, deliverables, and KPIs for projects, including timelines, tasks, resources, and risks.
• Prepare investment plans, including business cases for multiple initiatives.
• Provide support for budget preparation and facilitate approvals through the different gates.
• Monitor programs of work and prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and data.

• Relevant qualifications in program/project management.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated experience in leading the delivery of multiple, complex programs or projects and the management of multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in investment plans and business case development is preferred.

• Advanced verbal and written communication skills, including report writing for executive and leadership teams.
• Integrated, analytical, and systematic approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to provide meaningful insights and compelling cases to support business initiatives.
• Change management skills, ability to influence and negotiate outcomes.
• Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to deliver high-quality outcomes under pressure, by prioritizing fluctuating workloads.
• Extensive understanding of project and program management principles and ability to apply those in a variety of projects.
