Job Title: Executive Chef

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at RAAF Base East Sale.

About the Role:

This is a casual position, working across a Monday to Sunday rotating roster between 7am - 8pm. As an Executive Chef, you will work closely with the lead Chefs to ensure the smooth operation of a high volume, fast-paced kitchen serving 4 bars & 4 Mess halls, delivering between 15,000 - 20,000 meals per month.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure efficient preparation and delivery of meal services to a high standard.
  • Operate large-volume commercial cooking equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Train food production personnel in Ventia's procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitised kitchen environment at all times.
Requirements:
  • Commercial Cookery Certificate III or above.
  • Previous experience in a large commercial kitchen and fast-paced environment.
  • Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards, relevant legislation, and statutory obligations.
What We Offer:

Ventia offers a competitive salary package estimated at AU$70,000 - AU$90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
