Critical Care Specialist

Your role in Critical Care will be highly rewarding and challenging.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive patient care, coordinate supervision of junior staff, and assess allocated patients.
- Maintain knowledge of legislation and common law affecting nursing practice, ensuring accountability for actions.
- Develop harmonious interpersonal relationships and effective teamwork between staff, patients, relatives, doctors, and ancillary staff.
- Assist team members in documenting patient information accurately.
- Communicate effectively with the care team and report changes in patients' status.
- Initiate discharge planning to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Post-graduate qualification in critical care and recent clinical experience within ED.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, problem-solving abilities, commitment to quality patient care, and patient satisfaction.
