About the Job

We are seeking a passionate and ambitious individual to fill a Radio News Intern role. This six-week internship is an ideal opportunity for the next generation of radio talent to build their skills and gain real-world experience.

As a Radio News Intern, you will have the chance to work across various radio departments, including creating content with producers and on-air talent, engaging audiences through social media platforms, and supporting podcasting teams.

You will be based out of Pyrmont and will be buddied up with a Mentor for each of your rotations. Our team is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Campaign Support: Assist in brainstorming, copywriting, partner liaison, and campaign execution
  • Copywriting and Content Creation: Write compelling content in line with our brand's voice to achieve key goals
Desirable Skills:
  • Collaboration: Works with others by being open, clear in communication, and listening to achieve goals
  • Attention to detail: Accurately identifies and rectifies discrepancies or errors that exist in information and deliverables
  • Verbal communication: Speaks clearly to convey information effectively to a target audience
