Experienced Project Manager Required for High-Profile Apartment Development

We are seeking an accomplished project manager to lead a high-profile apartment development in Melbourne's inner south-east / bayside region.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale construction projects, with a proven track record of delivering on time, within budget, and to exceptional quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership: Oversee the full project lifecycle from early planning and design coordination through to completion and handover.
  • Budget and Cost Management: Manage budgets, programming, risk registers, and value-engineering to ensure successful delivery.
  • Team Management: Oversee subcontractor and consultant management, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Financial Performance: Drive project profitability through effective procurement and financial controls.
  • Safety and Quality: Ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards are met to the highest level.
About You:
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience as a project manager in the construction industry, with exposure to apartments or commercial projects valued $30M+.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to exceptional quality standards. Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Financial acumen in budget control, forecasting, and cost tracking.
  • Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in construction, engineering, or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
